Work Shift:

8hr - 2nd Shift 3p-1130p Wichita (United States of America) The Clean Room Operator is responsible for maintaining a controlled environment within the clean room area of the recycling facility. This role ensures that all processes comply with strict cleanliness and contamination control standards to guarantee the quality and integrity of recycled materials.

* Operate and monitor equipment within the clean room according to established protocols.
* Maintain cleanliness and contamination control standards in compliance with facility and regulatory requirements.
* Perform routine inspections and cleaning of workstations, tools, and equipment.
* Handle recycled materials safely and accurately, ensuring proper segregation and documentation.
* Follow all safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Record operational data and report any deviations or equipment malfunctions promptly.
* Assist in training new team members in cleaning room procedures and best practices.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
* Check silo inventory related to vessels daily.
* Check vessel hose connections daily.
* Check control room settings for vessels daily.
* Keep Clean Room stocked with needed supplies.
* Box off needed material using boxes or super sacks from assigned boxout.
* Test and inspect all material boxed off.
* Document and report all material boxed off.
* Assure all material is packaged and labeled properly.
* Deliver box samples to Quality Lab.

  • Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.

* High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
* Previous experience in clean room operations or manufacturing environment is a plus.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols.
* Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
* Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25lbs.
