What success looks like in this role: * Handle day-to-day operations of the IT warehouse and stockroom, maintaining organized and secure storage of technology assets and peripherals. * Perform IT asset management lifecycle activities including receiving, cataloging, tracking, assigning, unassigning, and retiring hardware within the Configuration Management Database (CMDB / CMDB system). * Process incoming IT service requests from end users and technicians, ensuring accurate fulfillment of equipment and accessory orders. * Update and maintain asset records in the corporate database management system, verifying serial numbers, asset tags, locations, and ownership details. * Coordinate shipping and logistics of IT equipment to remote offices and other company locations, including preparation of packages for deskside support technicians. * Work closely with IT deskside and field technicians to stage hardware for new hires, refresh projects, device replacements, and special initiatives. * Process returned IT equipment, inspect for damage, confirm data sanitization status, and properly reassign assets back into inventory. * Ensure compliance with internal asset management policies and procedures related to inventory control, documentation, and audit readiness. * Maintain accurate inventory levels of laptops, desktops, monitors, mobile devices, printers, and related IT accessories. * Assist with periodic physical inventory audits and reconciliation of warehouse stock against CMDB records. * Prepare equipment for deployment including imaging coordination, labeling, and asset tag application. * Track warranty status, repair requests, and vendor returns (RMA processing) as needed. * Safely handle disposal and e-waste processing in accordance with company security and environmental standards. * Generate reports from the asset management system to support management, finance, and IT operations teams. * Support asset recovery initiatives by contacting users for equipment returns and coordinating with HR and IT during employee offboarding. * Identify process improvement opportunities to streamline request fulfillment and inventory accuracy. * Provide general administrative and operational support for IT logistics projects as assigned. You will be successful in this role if you have: High School Diploma or GED required May require technical certification or Associate Degree Generally, 1-2years' experience in area of responsibility * 1-3 years of experience in IT asset management, warehouse logistics, inventory control, or a related IT operations support role. * Experience working with an enterprise CMDB system such as ServiceNow Asset Management, Remedy, or similar platform. * Prior experience supporting corporate IT environments, preferably within a large enterprise organization. * Corporate Office experience is highly desirable. This role may require access to export-controlled commodities and technology.
