Overview
The Mortgage Disclosure Specialist is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and issuing accurate and compliant disclosure packages for mortgage loans. This role plays a critical part in the loan origination process by ensuring borrowers receive timely and accurate disclosures, supporting compliance, and facilitating a smooth loan experience KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
*Validate loan file is set up properly within the Loan Originating System according to the loan program and loan purpose.
*Prepare and deliver initial disclosure packages and redisclosure packages in accordance with investor and regulatory guidelines, and internal Service Level Agreements *Review fee changes and validate changes of circumstances reasons. *Monitor loan pipelines to track and plan disclosures for loan files. Organize and prioritize workload to manage timely. *Work closely with internal business partners to troubleshoot, research and resolve transaction concerns. *Perform duties and responsibilities specific to department functions and activities, or as assigned by supervisor. *Maintain current knowledge of lending products, systems, and processes. *Quality Assurance - Maintain high accuracy in documentation and fund disbursements to ensure compliance and reduce risk. *Process Improvement - Recommend improvements to streamline workflows, reduce errors, and enhance borrower and partner experience. Supports implementation of new procedures and practices introduced by Mortgage Leadership *Borrower & Partner Experience - Deliver elevated, solutions-oriented service to borrowers, builders, and loan officers. Function as a knowledgeable point of contact, providing status updates, guidance, and follow-through. *Brand Growth - Uphold brand values by ensuring every interaction reflects the organization's commitment to excellence, professionalism, and trust JOB REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
*High School Diploma or equivalent
*Mortgage experience preferred. *Exhibits a positive approach to work duties and seeks ways to find efficiencies, without sacrificing quality or process. *Must be comfortable and able to work in a fast-paced environment. *Gives and receives constructive feedback. *Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite and Windows-based software.
