We are looking for an intern to support the Legal Department for the summer. (30-35 hours per week.)

Position Location: The position is located at Company Headquarters in Tysons, VA


Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • The Intern will be responsible for assisting in Legal initiatives and programs
  • These responsibilities will include internal projects, group initiatives related to improving Legal management operations

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelors degree or law degree
  • Preferred fields of study: business, law, or a related field of study
  • Strong working relationship and critical thinking skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Self-motivated with a strong work initiative and attention to detail
  • Customer service, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to use MS Excel and Powerpoint; database/or reporting software to do analysis a plus
  • Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline and detailed-oriented work environment
  • Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating in a team environment
  • Passion for learning with a wide degree of creativity and curiosity

Abilities

  • Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time.
  • Sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction.
  • Have finger dexterity in order to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard.
  • Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
