LABOR, UTILITY A

GENERAL FUNCTION: Responsible for clean up of the vessel and other areas of the shipyard.

Requirements: Must have at least 3 months of commercial/industrial experience preferred.

TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities:

Clean roadways, offices, decks, living quarters, tanks on vessels and various areas of the shipyard.

Operate street sweeper and vacuum truck as needed in cleaning roadways.

Moving and discarding of trash from the vessel and other areas.

Install temporary lighting and ventilation for all vessels and modules on the shipyard.

Cut and maintain grass throughout the facility.

Oil, fuel, pump and pressure the wash tanks on vessels.

General cleaning tasks involved in the maintenance of buildings and job sites.

Clean and fill drinking water containers throughout the shipyard .

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Ability to perform general labor work, in diverse weather conditions and confined spaces, working at heights as needed. Ability to lift heavy objects.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE & TRAINING: Prior experience working in a shipyard/manufacturing environment is preferred.
