We are seeking a high-caliber, Ops Support-Sr Mgr, to serve as a vital partner to the Senior Vice President of the Chief Sales Office (CSO). This is a high-visibility role designed for a professional who excels at the intersection of executive operations, strategic planning, and cross-functional leadership.

As the primary liaison for the SVP, you will ensure the organizational mission is translated into actionable results. You will be responsible for orchestrating complex workstreams, refining executive communications, and maintaining the governance frameworks that allow our leadership team to operate with maximum efficiency and impact

What you'll be doing:

  • Designing and synthesizing high-level executive presentations and briefings, translating complex business data into a cohesive organizational narrative.

  • Providing rigorous, data-driven recommendations to senior leadership to inform critical business decisions and long-term strategy.

  • Serving as a credible ambassador for the SVP, influencing without direct authority and building collaborative partnerships across diverse functional teams.

  • Acting as a strategic gatekeeper, prioritizing initiatives to ensure the SVP's time and resources are focused on the highest-leverage activities.

  • Directing large-scale, complex projects involving multiple workstreams, ensuring all milestones are met with precision.

  • Leading the development of strategic frameworks for the CSO, aligning departmental goals with the broader Verizon Consumer Group objectives.

  • Utilize advanced analytical skills to collect and interpret business intelligence, driving continuous improvement in process and performance.

  • Managing the business of the office, including budget administration, vendor/contract management, and resource allocation.

  • Leading the facilitation of Operational Reviews, staff meetings, and executive retreats, ensuring rigorous follow-through on action items and governance.

  • Develop and institutionalize streamlined processes and reporting templates to improve communication clarity across the Consumer Group.

Will adhere to current company policy (3x per week) and will be based on the needs of the business.

You are able to negotiate effectively at all levels of the organization and influence decisions that yield the best results for our company.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

  • Experience managing large complex projects involving multiple work streams and stakeholders.

  • Experience creating executive-level presentations.

  • Excellent organization and time-management skills.

  • Experience in interacting with all levels of management.

  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Project Management Professional certification

  • Master's degree.

  • Expert in communications - verbal and written.

  • Experience in establishing and cultivating cross-functional partnerships.

  • Proven ability to create effective short- and long-term Business strategies.

  • Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

  • Strategic and analytical ability; skilled at collecting and analyzing data to make appropriate process/business decisions/recommendations.

  • Self-starter that learns and adapts quickly to new systems, software and hardware.

  • Demonstrated ability to deal with conflict and bring about resolution.

  • Ability to organize around a problem and engage various teams to solve the challenge.

  • Prior experience with developing executive level deliverables (SVP level).

Where you'll be working
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours. The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $108,000.00 - $188,000.00. The annual salary range for the Illinois location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $108,000.00 - $188,000.00.
