Clarion Psychiatric Center in western Pennsylvania is seeking a board certified registered nurse practitioner (CRNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for inpatient services. The new associate will join an experienced multi-disciplinary team of Psychiatrists, PMHNPs, Nurses, Therapists and Administration to better meet the needs of the Behavioral Health needs in the region. The region is located just north of Pittsburgh nestled in an ideal environment to raise a family with good school systems, affordable housing and a close knit community. The area offers great outdoor activities such as state parks, championship golf courses and lakes for boating. City activities are less than a two-hour drive away to Pittsburgh. Clarion Psychiatric Center is owned and operated by a subsidiary of Universal Health Services (UHS), one of the nation's leading hospital management companies. Clarion is a private 112-bed private facility nestled on 14 acres overlooking the Clarion River basin providing a peaceful therapeutic environment for patients and their families for over 30 years. Clarion offers general broad based psychiatric clinical services and treatment for children, adolescents, adults and geriatric patient populations. Qualifications Job Summary: Clarion Psychiatric Center is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide PRN medical coverage with a primary focus on Sundays for our inpatient psychiatric hospital. This role is ideal for an advanced practice provider looking for Sunday work with the option to pick up additional PRN hours based on availability and interest. You will support the medical needs of psychiatric inpatients ages 10 and older, working in collaboration with psychiatry, nursing, and the interdisciplinary treatment team. Key Responsibilities
