As a Security Officer - Power Plant Patrol in Chino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and customer-focused support. You will document activity, assist with access control, and collaborate with site teams. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and post orders at a utilities location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, equipment areas, and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and contractor check-in requirements in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site representatives and public responders as needed.
• Complete required reports, shift logs, and incident documentation, and communicate notable observations to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
