The Business Development Representative will join our sales team in the Progress Infrastructure Management product group. If you're self-motivated, have experience in lead generation and sales and are committed to delivering exceptional results, apply now.
In this role, you will:
- Support the Marketing and Sales teams in achieving assigned sales targets for the Company's products and product lines;
- Manage inbound sales inquiries received via the website, email, and phone.
- Identify and research opportunities to establish direct contact between Sales teams and customers.
- Work to increase sales with new prospective customers by reviewing available information, initiating contact, identifying potential clients, and facilitating engagement between prospects and Sales teams.
- Establish sales-related communication with specific new customer segments.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Managers and relevant teams to refine marketing and sales strategies and approaches.
- Maintain and update specialized software to accurately track all relevant customer data, business forecasts, and interaction records.
- Conduct daily strategic outbound calls and/or engage with customers through other communication channels.
- Use intent data, engagement signals, and market insights to understand customer requirements and identify suitable solutions that meet customer needs, prioritizing highvalue prospects.
Your background:
- Good knowledge of LinkedIn Sales Navigator or other prospecting tools
- Minimum 1 year experience in a sales role (preferably outbound sales)
- Passion for outbound selling
- Enthusiastic, driven, and confident personality
- Go-getter, systematic, and organized
- Fluency in English, Spanish, Italian or both
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRMs
