What You'll Do
- Read and understand drawings andspecifications, andcontribute to creating as-built drawings
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of job site safety, with the ability to evaluate job hazards and complete pre-work task planning, focusing on hazard identification
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills, interact effectively with all levels of management, show initiative, and work independently or collaboratively as needed
- Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions
- Ability to produce parts lists and work plans based on drawings or field observations Lead small construction projects and communicate schedule estimates, progress, and impacts
- Capability to create as-built drawings for completed work
What You'll Bring
Minimum of 5+ years of verifiable experience as a Journeyman Carpenter (applicants with less than 5 years will be assessed for experience level and considered) Ability to work at heights up to 80 ft. Extensive experience with hand and power tools Flexibility to complete job scopes outside of typical core competencies as required Experience operating scissor lifts, boom lifts, and forklifts OSHA 10 certification
