Physician - Primary Care - Per Diem

Lincoln Hospital, a 25-bed critical access hospital and proud member of MaineHealth, is seeking a per diem primary care physician to join our experienced and collaborative team. As part of MaineHealth's comprehensive network, Lincoln Hospital's Primary Care team delivers expert, patient-centered healthcare across multiple locations, including Boothbay Harbor, Damariscotta, Waldoboro, and Wiscasset, Maine.

This opportunity is based at our Primary Care Clinic in Waldoboro, with the opportunity to float to other sites, as needed. Opening in March 2026, this new, state-of-the-art clinic will offer modern exam rooms, on-site lab services, and a welcoming, fully accessible environment.

In this per diem role, you will have the flexibility to provide high-quality, compassionate care to individuals and families while supporting our primary care team as needed. You will collaborate with experienced healthcare professionals in a well-supported clinical environment, contributing to continuity of care and positive patient outcomes while maintaining a schedule that fits your availability.

Desired Qualifications & Experience

Education/Training:

• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency or fellowship program in the relevant specialty, or equivalent.

Licenses/Certifications:

• Eligible for licensure in the State of Maine.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Ability to obtain and maintain credentialing and privileges at designated hospital locations.
