The role:

You will oversee all aspects of departmental operations, including forecasting, management of obsolescence, and timely execution of NPD via Kaihatsu participation. You will establish and maintain excellent relationships across Distributor managers, IMD Marketing, Distributor partners, SCM Planning/Customer Logistics and finance. You will identify efficiencies across processes.

What you will do:



  • Maintain collaborative relationships across multiple teams including Customer Logistics, Supply Chain/Planning, IMD Team members, Finance
  • Collaborate with Distributor Managers and Distributor Partners to develop and maintain demand planning forecast by sku for SCM. Collaborate with planning team to execute changes as required (version code changes, over forecast, monthly carry over).
  • Participate in Kaihatsu meetings to understand brand launches/updates and incorporate into Forecast and communicate with IMD Team members.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain to communicate weekly order/shipment projection vs budget
  • Contribute to department financial performance by managing/minimizing obsolete inventory exposure. Work with finance to ensure the risk is captured accordingly.
  • Possible responsibility for day to day tasks for opportunistic distributors.



What you will need:



  • Bachelor's degree in a business related field.
  • Knowledge of forecasting methodology and processes.
  • 3+ years of experience in a forecasting role
  • Knowledge of Joint business planning - 2+ years of involvement in JBP
  • Microsoft Programs
  • SAP knowledge and capability
  • Spanish language desired, not required.
