Your Job

We are seeking an innovative learning leader to design, develop and implement a Manufacturing Leadership Development Program at Georgia-Pacific. This leader will utilize proven adult learning techniques to ensure the development of Georgia-Pacific's leaders, helping us to succeed long-term operationally. The application and integration of the Principle Based Management Supervisor Responsibilities and Expectations throughout this process is a must.

This leader will need to work with and through multiple operations organizations including the Human Resources team, collaborating to produce a cost-effective, hybrid learning strategy that meets the needs of current and future supervisors. This person will also supervise a team who currently facilitates our leadership development series. Exceptional facilitation, coaching, and interpersonal skills are needed.

The leader should expect to travel, especially at the beginning of the role when they are getting to know the different manufacturing facilities and teams and determining a path forward. Expect 25 - 50% travel.

Location: This role is based in Atlanta GP Center; however other approved locations or relocation for the right candidate will be considered.


What You Will Do

Program Development & Strategy
  • Design and implement a multi-tiered leadership development curriculum tailored to manufacturing roles and organizational goals.
  • Integrate industry best practices, emerging technologies, and leadership theories to create innovative learning experiences.
  • Partner with senior leadership and HR to align the program with business objectives and talent strategies.
Team Leader
  • Provide coaching and supervision to leadership team members, helping them to self-actualize
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and leadership accountability.
Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations and Human Resources to identify leadership competencies and critical skill gaps.
  • Work closely with external learning partners, academic institutions, and industry associations to bring innovative approaches and benchmarking insights.
Measurement & Continuous Improvement
  • Define success metrics, track program effectiveness, and report outcomes to executive leadership.
  • Use data-driven insights to continuously enhance program content, delivery, and impact.
  • Lead pilot programs and scale successful initiatives across the organization.
Change Management & Communication
  • Champion the leadership development program as a strategic enabler of organizational change and agility.
  • Facilitate the roll-out of the program across the business, participating as a leader, facilitator and enabler of work.
  • Communicate progress and benefits to stakeholders at all levels through presentations, reports, and storytelling.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Proven track record of designing and implementing leadership development programs that have driven measurable business impact.
  • Experience with change management frameworks and adult learning principles.
  • Experience as a leader for projects or learning teams.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and senior leadership.
  • Innovative mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and talent development.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience supervising within a Principle Based Management company.
  • Experience in manufacturing leadership roles or leadership development within complex industrial settings.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, operational challenges, and industry trends.
  • Certification in leadership development, coaching, or organizational development (e.g., SHRM, CPLP, PCC).
  • Experience with digital learning platforms and e-learning development.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in program evaluation and data analysis.
