POSITION SUMMARY



The Quality Analyst supports and advances quality, food safety, and continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing facility. This role partners with production, maintenance, design and customer service teams to ensure compliance with quality standards, drive data-based improvements, and support ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 certification programs.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Coordinate and support plant-wide process improvement initiatives, including root cause analysis and CAPA
  • Provide daily quality support to production, maintenance, and customer service teams
  • Support documentation and maintenance of Quality and Food Safety Management Systems
  • Analyze processes and identify improvement opportunities
  • Conduct time and motion studies to identify efficiencies and cost savings
  • Ensure calibration and maintenance of quality control and measurement equipment
  • Deliver quality and food safety training to supervisors and associates
  • Support quality data collection, analysis, and reporting
  • Participate in internal and external audits
  • Promote employee engagement and continuous improvement
  • Perform additional duties as assigned



POSITION REQUIREMENT

  • Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred (Engineering, Quality, Statistics, Business, or related field)
  • 3-5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience supporting quality systems or continuous improvement initiatives
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • This position is on-site in New Oxford, PA and cannot be remote or hybrid



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • ASQ certification or equivalent
  • Six Sigma Green Belt
  • Experience with statistical or quality software
  • Data mining experience



MATHEMATICAL SKILLS


Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, inches/centimeters, proportions, and percentages.


REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with various concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret multiple instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.



TECHNICAL SKILLS


Computer literate (MS Office including Word and Excel)


Knowledge of quality principles


PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The employee is regularly required to walk, talk, hear, sit and stand. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Physical requirements are the ability to lift to 50 pounds.


WORK ENVIRONMENT

The noise level in the manufacturing environment can be loud at times. While performing the duties of this job, the employee could be exposed to humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, driving traffic, conversion systems. On occasion, some travel may be required.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS




  • Starting salary range for position: $54,400 to $68,000 annually.
  • Bonus: Annual - Based upon individual contribution and overall, Company performance.
  • Paid Vacation: Three (3) weeks per calendar year. Pro-rata Vacation during the initial year of hire based upon start date within the calendar year.

  • Within the first 30 days of employment, an employee (and their dependents) is eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages -- medical, dental, and vision - and are automatically enrolled in life, AD&D, and disability coverages.
  • Upon hire, an employee is automatically enrolled in the 401k plan. The plan offers both pre-tax and Roth contribution options along with employer provided matching contributions.
