- Service Standards & Guest Recovery: Monitor service cues; jump in to resolve issues, comp/void with authorization, and turn challenges into positive outcomes.
- Opening/Closing: Execute checklists, secure cash banks, reconcile end-of-day paperwork, submit shift notes/logs, and ensure areas are set for success.
- MOD Coverage: Serve as Manager-on-Duty as scheduled-coordinate with Front Office, Culinary, Engineering, and Housekeeping; respond to safety incidents and guest escalations; document and communicate via the logbook.
- Team Support & Training: Lead pre-shift huddles, coach in the moment, onboard new team members, and reinforce SOPs, menu knowledge, and responsible alcohol service.
- Compliance & Safety: Uphold health, sanitation, and safety standards; conduct temperature logs and opening/closing compliance checks.
- Inventory & Purchasing Support: Assist with counts, par levels, receiving, and organization of supplies and product.
- Administrative Support: Assist with scheduling inputs, labor awareness, and workload balancing as directed by the Restaurant Manager.
- Always-On Operational Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor; model company values and service culture.
- Communicate clearly with guests and teammates; anticipate needs and remove friction.
- Help maintain an organized, clean environment-tables, floors, service stations, and back areas.
- Other duties as assigned to support an exceptional guest and associate experience.
What We're Looking For Qualifications & Experience

- Strong knowledge of service standards, guest recovery best practices, and responsible alcohol service.
- Comfortable operating POS systems and handling basic cash/close procedures.
- Knowledgeable in basic health/safety and employment policy practices; ServSafe/Food Handler and responsible alcohol service certification (or ability to obtain).
