Details

The Department of Physics & Astronomy is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Scholar in the area of neutrino theory. The individual in this position will perform collaborative research in neutrino theory and phenomenology with Professor Matheus Hostert and other members of the University of Iowa Nuclear and Particle Physics group. The postdoc will also participate in international conferences, collaborate with researchers at other institutions and national labs, publish conference and journal papers, and mentor graduate and undergraduate students.

Requirements

- PhD in physics awarded by the position start date.

- Specializatoin and expertise in neutrino physics.

- Recipient of a Neutrino Theory Network fellowship.

- Demonstrated history of publishing high-quality papers in peer-reviewed journals.
