SCHEDULING DIRECTOR, MISSION CRITICAL PROJECTS The Scheduling Director leads scheduling strategy and execution for the company's mission critical portfolio. This role provides leadership across rapidly growing data center programs and large, complex projects, ensuring consistent, high-quality scheduling practices from early design through commissioning and turnover. The Scheduling Director partners closely with program and executive leadership to develop and manage schedule strategy, maintain technical rigor and consistency, and drive coordination across all project phases-including design, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover. This position serves as a senior advisor to executive leadership, offering insight into schedule performance, risk, and opportunities across the portfolio. Key objectives include improving transparency and predictability of project outcomes, proactively identifying and mitigating schedule risk, documenting and communicating change impacts, and supporting strategic decision-making for mission critical work. This role leads and develops a team of project schedulers and ensures alignment with company scheduling standards. This position reports to the Director of Construction Planning and Scheduling and is critical to the successful delivery of fast-paced, mission critical projects. Qualifications: Required:
- Bachelor's degree in construction-related field or 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for required education.
- 15+ years of construction & scheduling experience
Preferred:
- 20+ years of construction & scheduling experience
- Experience with mission critical construction projects including but not limited to, data centers and semiconductor manufacturing
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of cost and resource loaded schedules, change management and claims avoidance and resolution techniques
Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and leadership levels
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple demands in a dynamic environment
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) or other project controls tools and Primavera P6

Office and Travel: Works on project site or in regional office with periodic travel. In addition to regional meetings and some overnight travel may be required. Hybrid options available with 50% travel. Responsibilities and Tasks: Schedule Strategy & Portfolio Leadership
- Lead the development and execution of integrated schedule strategies across the mission critical portfolio, coordinating inputs from design, engineering, procurement, construction, and subcontractors.
- Establish and enforce enterprise scheduling standards and controls that support predictive analytics, reliable forecasting, and informed decision-making.
- Serve as a senior advisor to executive and program leadership, providing schedule-driven insight into performance, risk, trends, and opportunities.
- Lead schedule-related change management efforts, including impact analysis, fragnet development, and documentation to support program-level decisions and client communications.
Scheduling Standards and Consistency
- Balance company scheduling standards with client and contractual requirements.
- Maintain consistent WBS and coding structures across projects.
- Structure schedules to support KPI tracking, reporting, and performance measurement.
- Ensure consistent use of cost- and resource-loaded schedules for progress and productivity tracking.
- Implement weather and change management structures within schedules.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and develop a team of project schedulers supporting mission critical projects.
- Elevate scheduling literacy across project teams and leadership.
- Ensure project schedules meet client, project, and department standards.
- Conduct schedule quality reviews to ensure CPM integrity, logic accuracy, and alignment with project plans.
- Perform schedule-based risk and opportunity assessments and communicate findings to project and scheduling leadership.
- Ensure sound schedule setup, including logic, critical path definition, cost and resource loading, success probability, and forecast accuracy.
Risk Management
- Lead schedule risk analysis, what-if simulations, and impact assessments across projects and programs.
- Develop clear documentation and narratives that articulate schedule impacts in support of client and executive change discussions.
- Identify, escalate, and communicate recurring or significant schedule risks to executive leadership.
Leadership and Client Communication
- Maintain ongoing communication with scheduling leadership, program leadership, and key stakeholder clients.
- Present program- and project-level schedule performance, KPIs, trends, and recovery strategies.
- Collaborate on dashboards and reports using Primavera P6, Tableau, and company-standard tools to support forecasting and executive insight.
- Support forensic schedule analysis, claims preparation, and delay and impact assessment strategies.
Additional Responsibilities
- Actively contribute as a collaborative member of the Scheduling team in support of shared goals and objectives.
- Participate in business development activities, including client functions, design firm open houses, and industry conferences.
- Foster strong working relationships with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.

- Participate in relevant personal and professional development training.
- Attend company-sponsored events.
- Perform project scheduler duties as needed to support successful project delivery.
