Who we are looking for:

The Business Controls Supervisor will be responsible for set up, configuration, and maintenance of Business Controls systems and processes. Effective management of team members and/or 3rd parties to ensure completion of scheduled and discretionary First Line of Defense reviews. Maintains a strong and consistent control environment that ensures effective communication of exceptions and management of resolutions to mitigate operational risk.

• Location: Onsite daily in Englewood, CO
• Compensation: $60-80k yr.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Business Controls operational reviews, exception handling, exception resolution.
• Day to day management, administration, and support of the QM Call Monitoring Team.
• Provide proactive, real-time analytics, dashboards, and executive reporting across Business Controls.
• Facilitate onboarding and management of LiveGage and/or other Testing Applications.
• Review, analyze, and develop evaluation strategies to facilitate identification of risks, operational gaps, and deficiencies.
• Promote continuous process improvement working with business leaders across Operations.
• Special projects as assigned

What you'll need to be successful:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 5 years' operations, quality management, or quality control experience in the mortgage industry
• Strong research, communication, and presentation skills
• Working knowledge of Federal and State Mortgage Banking Laws
• Strong technical, reasoning, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
• Exceptional attention to details and ability to manage variations
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Visio, Excel, Word, etc.)
