Job Description Performance Contracting Inc. in Ashburn, VA seeks Associate Project Engineer Job Description: Conduct safety meetings. Create and manage punch lists. Support the Quality Control Measures outlined in the QA/QC program. Prepare RFI's and submittals. Do labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance. Quantitative takeoffs for material ordering. Support the implementation of the job schedule. Coordinate warranties and O&M's. Material coordination with purchase orders and invoicing. Hybrid telecommuting permitted; 4 days per week in office. Job Requirements: This position requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Additionally, the applicant must have completed undergraduate or graduate course work in: (1) IT in Design and Construction or related course; (2) Building Systems Technology or related course; (3) Introduction to Structural Engineering or related course; (4) Civil Engineering Materials or related course; (5) Temporary Structures or related course; (6) Pavement Design or related course; (7) Design of Wood Structures or related course; and (8) Introduction to Geotechnical Engineering or related course.
