Your Job

The Compliance Data Entry Specialist is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining asset compliance-related data in our KBX internal systems. Key duties include reviewing documents for accuracy and regulatory requirements, identifying and correcting data errors, and collaborating with internal and external parties to gather information. This role also involves ensuring data quality and maintaining strict confidentiality and security protocols.

The KBX Compliance team is part of the business and plays a key role in supporting its vision and operations. Our team maintains strong adherence to all regulatory requirements, understands their impact on the business, and shares this knowledge throughout the organization. The compliance program is structured around a framework that addresses high-risk activities and outlines how these risks will be managed.

What You Will Do

  • Accurately input, update, and maintain records in KBX systems, spreadsheets, and other systems.
  • Review documents and data for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Proactively identify and correct errors and follow up on missing or outdated documentation.
  • Assist in preparing reports and audit documentation to support internal and external audits.
  • Communicate with internal departments, such as maintenance, operations, and finance to clarify information and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive data and adhere to all data security and privacy protocols.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve data entry processes and ensure best practices are followed.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience entering data into systems or databases
  • Experience using the Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience working with multiple cross functional teams
  • Experience managing and organizing data files

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience using a TMS to log and enter data
  • Experience performing reconciliation and data entry quality assurance
  • Experience applying knowledge of transportation/logistics compliance regulations
  • Experience working within an assets-based logistics department
