As a Security Officer - Credit Union Patrol Driver in Sandston, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or contractors at a financial institution location by following site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and documentation requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate contacts and documenting actions taken per post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior perimeter, parking areas, and/or ATM areas as assigned, watching for unusual activity and conditions that may help to deter incidents.
  • Monitor entry points and controlled areas, verify authorization as required, and assist with queue management and customer direction while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Complete required reports such as daily activity logs and incident reports, communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 3+ years combined law enforcement and/or military and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
  • Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
