Account Executive (Louisiana)

The Field Account Executive drives growth by building strong, consultative relationships with public school districts, Head Start programs, and early childhood organizations. This role focuses on understanding the needs of teachers and administrators serving children birth to age 5 and providing solutions that elevate instruction, strengthen outcomes, and bring joyful learning to classrooms.

The Account Executive thrives in a dynamic, self-directed environment, spending the majority of their week in the field meeting with leaders, conducting demonstrations, and building partnerships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Territory Leadership & Pipeline Growth



  • Own and strategically manage an assigned multi-state or regional territory.
  • Build a strong opportunity pipeline through multi-channel outreach, conferences and networking.
  • Conduct 3-4 days/week of in-person customer meetings, demonstrations, walkthroughs and cold calls.
  • Maintain a consistent cadence of outreach (calls, emails, social media, events) in partnership with Inside Sales


Customer Engagement & Sales Execution



  • Consult with education leaders to uncover challenges and align Frog Street solutions that support program goals.
  • Identify needs and align solutions across curriculum, professional learning, and services.
  • Deliver compelling in-person and virtual product demonstrations for district teams, educators, and evaluation committees.
  • Prepare customized cost proposals, quotes and implementation plans.


Collaboration & Cross-Functional Teaming



  • Partner regularly with Inside Sales on territory planning, lead management, follow-up and account management.
  • Provide exceptional service that builds trust, satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, leveraging Marketing, Professional Development and Customer Success partnerships.


Professional Excellence & Territory Knowledge



  • Maintain deep understanding of territory trends, early childhood policy, and funding cycles.
  • Continuously deepen product, industry, and sales process knowledge through participation in team meetings and Sales Enablement sessions.
  • Maintain accurate, timely activity and opportunity data in Salesforce.


QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, education or a related field
  • 5+ years of sales experience in education preferred
  • Must reside within the assigned territory
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Strong communication skills, especially listening, questioning and building rapport
  • Proven experience generating pipeline through proactive prospecting and relationship-building
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote, field-based environment with a high degree of independence
  • Team-oriented mindset with experience partnering across Inside and Field sales roles
  • Experience with CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce


PHYSICAL & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS



  • Travel 3-4 days per week across territory with overnight travel required.
  • Deliver presentations both virtually and onsite.
  • Ability to lift and transport sample boxes and curriculum materials.
