Loan Officer Assistant (Arden, NC)

As a Loan Officer Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in the mortgage process by supporting Loan Officers, managing important loan details from start to finish, and serving as a trusted point of contact for clients, partners, and internal teams. Your ability to build strong relationships and keep everything moving smoothly will make a real difference every day.

Responsibilities

• Support Loan Officers with loan application preparation, submission, and file management
• Collect, organize, and maintain accurate client documentation and data
• Communicate with clients, referral partners, and internal teams to provide updates and gather needed information
• Coordinate with processing and underwriting to keep loan files moving on schedule
• Manage Loan Officer calendars, appointments, and client follow-ups
• Assist with webinars, presentations, and online marketing efforts
• Participate in business development activities, including referral and relationship building
• Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with all regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• Ability to work from the Arden, NC branch
• Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills with a sales-oriented mindset
• Proficiency Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (Encompass experience a plus)
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
