Area Sales Manager - Miami & South Florida Territory

Join Neuronetics and help change the current paradigm for the treatment of major depression in the Miami and South Florida region! As an Area Sales Manager (ASM), you will provide an office-based, outpatient treatment option to psychiatrists and other mental health providers for the treatment of major depressive disorder. In this role, you will be responsible for educating and selling physicians on our unique NeuroStar Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) technology and our competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Sales Results: Meet sales goals and quotas for NeuroStar capital systems.
  • Territory Development: Identify and develop new NeuroStar providers within the South Florida territory.
  • Strategic Targeting: Properly target large physician in-network practices and local psychiatric hospitals.
  • Clinical Education: Educate physicians and influential staff about clinical trial results and device features and benefits.
  • Key Relationships: Establish and develop relationships with thought leaders and key opinion leaders.
  • Post-Sale Support: Partner with the Practice Development Manager (PDM) to provide practice development support, reimbursement support, and patient education materials.
  • Collaborative Growth: Share input and ideas with the home office to assist in decision-making and help set the future direction of marketing and sales activities.
Who You Are

Required Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.
  • Sales Track Record: Two (2) years+ of business-to-business (B2B) sales experience plus 5-7 years of successful experience selling capital medical devices in a clinical office setting.
  • Elite Performance: Highly competitive with a consistent track record of top 10% performance in previous positions.
  • Location: Residence within the Miami/South Florida geography or close proximity of the territory is required.
  • Technical & Licensing: Must possess a valid driver's license and proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Travel: Ability to travel by air, rail, or auto required up to 50% of the time.
Preferred Skills
  • Previous experience selling disruptive new technology in hospitals and/or large office environments.
  • Knowledge of selling a system that contains capital equipment with a disposable component.
  • Experience working in the Neuroscience and/or Psychiatry space.
  • Contract negotiation on product offering.

Benefits Statement: Selected candidate will be eligible to participate in the Company's employee benefit plans, which currently include: health insurance; dental insurance; vision insurance; optional supplemental medical insurance; health savings and flexible spending accounts; company-paid life insurance and additional voluntary life insurance; company-paid short term disability and long term disability insurance; participation in a 401(k) savings and investment plan with company contribution; and paid time off for non-exempt salaried employees is calculated as .625 per pay period worked for vacation time and .29166 per pay period for personal time. Full-time exempt employees will be eligible for Flex-PTO, which allows time off without accrual. If applicable and required under state law, the successful candidate will also be eligible for paid sick leave. These benefits are subject to plan terms, company policies and are subject to change.
