Position Title: QA Technician
Wage: $16.25-$23.00 per hour Shift: 1st, 2nd, 3rd Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm; 2:00pm-10:30pm; 10:00pm-6:30am (Mon-Fri) Be part of a nationwide leader in value-added food production, supplying high-quality egg and potato products to major foodservice and retail brands. Work in a fast-paced, modern facility in Britt, IA, that prioritizes food safety, innovation, and team success-where every role plays a part in feeding families across the country. QA Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Ensure food safety and quality of products. - Report any issues affecting food safety, quality, or personnel safety. - Follow USDA, FSIS, FDA, customer, and company guidelines. - Collect in-process and finished product samples and conduct tests. - Use SAP to access product specifications, formulas, and mixing instructions. - Assist with training production staff on food safety and quality standards. - Conduct pre-op and operational inspections. - Documenting and reporting any quality issues. - Calibrate testing equipment and follow up on any issues. - Adhere to safe work practices, GMPs, and sanitary procedures. QA Technician Requirements: - Standing in one spot for 8-10 hour days. - Repetitive reaching, bending, and lifting. - Repetitive lifting of 20-40 lbs. and on occasion 70 lbs. - Repetitive motions with shoulders and wrists - gripping, reaching, squeezing. - Working for prolonged hours in 35-40-degree temperatures. - Candidates must have a proven track record of several years of solid work history.
