Position Title: Machine Operator
Wage: $22.00/hour Shift: 12 Hour Nights Hours: 6:45pm - 7:00am Reached a dead end at your current job? Check out how this position can create a new path! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Machine Operator at a company in Milwaukee, WI. This is a potential to hire position. Apply today! Machine Operator Responsibilities: - Test products using accepted quality procedures and equipment - Cut cores as needed - Assist with the core-up process - Wrap and stage DRC rolls in warehousing area - Assist with changing parent rolls at the unwind - Assist with changing crepe and print blades as required - Assist with threading-up machine from Unwind to Reel - Place broke on pallets and record on appropriate waste tracking forms - Dump carts, bale materials, handle stage bales off the baler for later processing Requirements for Machine Operator: - Prior experience working in the printing, paper production, paper converting or other continuous manufacturing processes is highly preferred - At least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment - High school diploma or equivalent - Good mechanical aptitude - Prior lift truck experience preferred - Basic understanding of quality specifications and key customer needs - Good communication skills - Fluent in English - Able to walk or stand for duration of shift - Able to climb ladders - Able to lift and carry of up to 50 pounds IND010 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
