Product Compliance Data Entry Specialist (Remote)

We are seeking a detail-driven Product Compliance Specialist (Temp) to support a Quality Control department within a fast-paced retail organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, regulations, and product compliance. While the role is heavily focused on data entry and Excel work, it also offers exposure to U.S. regulatory, trade, and product compliance laws, with on-the-job training provided.

This long-term temporary role has future potential and is ideal for candidates with experience or interest in import/export compliance, regulatory documentation, legal support, or product sourcing.

This is a fully remote position and Hunter Hamilton offers hourly/weekly pay, direct deposit and temporary health benefits!

  Support the Quality Control team in ensuring compliance with U.S. product regulatory and trade compliance laws

  
  
• 
  

  Perform FDA and California cosmetic product registrations

  
  
• 
  

  Complete CPSC eFiling data entry with accuracy and efficiency

  
  
• 
  

  Maintain and update product databases, compliance logs, and supporting documentation

  
  
• 
  

  Assist with ad hoc trade and regulatory compliance projects as needed

  
  
• 
  

  Review laws and regulations and apply them practically to determine product compliance

  
  
• 
  

  Work extensively in Excel and internal databases, ensuring data integrity and audit-ready records

  
  

• 
  

  Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

  
  
• 
  

  Strong computer proficiency, including Excel, word processing, and database systems

  
  
• 
  

  Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality

  
  
• 
  

  Ability to work independently, manage repetitive tasks, and resolve practical issues

  
  
• 
  

  Ability to read and interpret laws and regulations and apply them in a practical business context

  Prior experience in product compliance, import/export, legal support, or product sourcing preferred

  FDA and/or California cosmetic compliance experience is a plus
