Converted Mini Roll - Operator

Summary of Job:

The Fan Fold Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring fan fold equipment to ensure paper or material is folded accurately, efficiently, and according to production specifications. This role requires attention to quality, safety, and productivity standards.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor fan fold machines according to production orders
• Adjust machine settings to ensure proper folding, stacking, and alignment
• Inspect finished product for quality, accuracy, and defects
• Load raw materials and remove finished products from the machine
• Perform basic troubleshooting and make minor adjustments as needed
• Complete required production, quality, and downtime documentation
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S standards
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements
• Communicate issues or concerns to the leadership promptly
• Assist with other production tasks assigned

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Environment

• Exposure to moving equipment.
• Inside work.
• Humidity may exceed 80%.
• Noise may exceed 85dB+.
• Work in temperatures of 100⁰ plus with high humidity for up to 12-hour shifts.

Physical Characteristics

• Frequent Standing and walking.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent stooping and squatting.
• Occasional bending and twisting.
• Occasional stair climbing.
• Pushing/pulling 30 - 50 pounds of force.
• Occasional reaching.
• Repetitive use of wrist, hands, and fingers.
• Frequent use of shoulders, elbows, hips, knees, and ankles.
• You must follow all Safety Rules and policies.

Position Type

• Full time.
• Shift work: 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday-Friday.
• Overtime expected per business demand.

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent required.

• Minimum 1 year manufacturing preferred.
