Your Role on Our Team:

The Power Tools Sr. Financial analyst is responsible for P&L ownership for a portfolio of product categories. This Sr. Financial Analyst supports Product Marketing Leadership's decision-making for new product development, costing, engineering, pricing and promotional strategies and overall health of the P&L.The Sr. Financial Analyst will partner with other finance leaders to achieve Milwaukee Tool's annual financial goals.

You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, support, and guidance for Power Tool Categories and Engineering.
  • Partner with business leaders to analyze monthly activity, build monthly forecasts, and communicate results to finance, and Power Tool leadership team.
  • Work with cross functional departments to develop strategic product and customer road map
  • Identify knowledge gaps and develop tools, processes, and models to provide meaningful information to internal customers.
  • Develop peer relationships with other BU category leaders to drive consistency in reporting, analysis, and operational procedures and rhythm.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous process improvement. Identify and eliminate non-value-added activities and streamline processes.
  • Demonstrate ability to manage multiple processes and prioritize appropriately.
  • Assist in preparation of rolling 18 month forecast.

The TOOLS you'll bring with you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3-5 years of finance/accounting experience
  • Critical thinking, strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
  • Able to effectively communicate with all levels and functions within the organization, both Finance and Non-Finance (written, verbal, presentation, and listening),
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, with advanced Excel knowledge
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to work well on diverse, cross-functional teams
  • Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
