About this opportunity:
AT&T is evolving its 5G Core Network, Operation Support Systems ( OSS) and Billing Support Systems ( BSS) to support new services and capabilities. As the Head of Cloud Software and Services responsible for the CTO team in the AT&T account, you will oversee and drive the comprehensive technical strategy and execution of Ericsson's CSS portfolio at AT&T for 5G and 6G. This includes managing alignment of Ericsson's technology roadmaps with AT&T's requirements and innovating across the CSS portfolio providing incorporating all AT&T network segments.
What you will do:
- Lead and manage CSS strategy and execution with the AT&T CTO and executive organizations, including AT&T Headquarters.
- Align Ericsson's Networks portfolio roadmap with AT&T's business needs and network evolution plans.
- Drive innovation and introduction of new technologies and features across all network segments to meet AT&T's objectives and maintain competitive advantage.
- Collaborate closely with AT&T 's CTO and Engineering organizations and other key stakeholders to ensure deep understanding of their challenges, goals, and regulatory needs.
- Manage cross-domain teams and ecosystem partners to deliver integrated, end-to-end network solutions.
- Lead performance evaluations, feature improvements, and operational excellence initiatives on Ericsson's Networks portfolio deployed with AT&T.
- Build and develop a high-performing team, fostering strong collaboration with Sales, Product Management, Domains, Program Office, and ecosystem partners.
- Provide thought leadership by sharing business insights, industry trends, and technological advancements to drive Ericsson's Networks business growth with AT&T.
The skills you bring:
- BS Degree in Engineering (IT, Telecom, Computer Science) required; MS preferred. MBA or equivalent business qualifications desirable.
- 10+ years ICT industry experience, including leadership roles involving portfolio strategy, technical sales, product management, or consulting.
- Strong experience leading large, complex technical teams and projects in a multi-domain network environment in Core Networks & OSS, BSS.
- Deep knowledge of end-to-end network technologies, focusing on 5G core networks including BSS/OSS systems and Network Management
- Competence in AI technology is preferred
- Proven ability to align technical roadmaps with customer business objectives and commercial strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging executive stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and external partners.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in building and developing high-performing, distributed teams.
- Strong understanding of CSP processes, entry/exit criteria, and operational requirements for network deployments.
- A holistic vision across all network domains and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value for AT&T.
- Deep curiosity and excellent listening skills to understand AT&T's unique challenges and proactively develop tailored solutions.

Your Pay
The salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
Sales Incentive Plan : Your pay also includes the opportunity for sales incentives as a part of Ericsson's Sales Incentive Plan. Actual payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual incentive target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.
Your Health
Ericsson offers excellent health benefits including the choice of three medical plan options and a dental plan option that allow an employee to select the level of coverage that suits their needs. Employees will receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost that Ericsson pays toward the cost of their medical and dental premiums for themselves and eligible covered dependents.
Your Financial Security
We invest in both your short and long-term financial wellbeing. The Ericsson US 401(k) Plan offers an automatic 3% company contribution and Ericsson match $1 for every $1 you put into the 401(k) Plan on the first 3% of your eligible pay, plus 50 cents on every $1 on the next 2% of eligible pay. When you contribute at least 5% of eligible pay, you are receiving Ericsson's full matching contributions of 4%. Matching and company automatic contributions stop when your total eligible pay for the year reaches the IRS limits. Employees will also receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost of basic life insurance and basic accidental death and dismemberment coverage, as well as short-term and long-term disability coverage. Employees also have the option to participate in Ericsson's Stock Purchase Plan.
Your Time
Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee's start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
