Building Maintenance Technician

In this role, you will review and prioritize work orders, assess job requirements, and carry out repair and preventive maintenance tasks. You will respond to urgent and emergency facilities issues, investigate reported discrepancies, and support day-to-day building operations. Duties include basic maintenance activities such as changing lights, replacing ceiling tiles, troubleshooting plumbing and mechanical issues, patching and painting, and collaborating with other facilities staff.

How You'll Make An Impact:

• Allow for timely response to employee submitted "demand" work requests.
• Maintain fire life safety and lab safety monthly preventive maintenance requirements.
• Provide for timely response to urgent and emergency building and grounds issues.
• Maintain accurate records of work order activities.
• Reduce the reliance on third party maintenance vendors.

What You Bring:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Work Experience: Must have general maintenance skills (i.e. use of hand tools, general plumbing repairs, lighting, patching and painting of walls.
• Experience within commercial facilities.
• Ability to work with without direct supervision.
• Must have the ability to coordinate and work with co-worker, vendors, and management.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $57,000 to $78,500 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
