ABOUT THE ROLE

Responsible for patching all lifter holes that are not required for handling, moving, or erecting panels prior to placement in storage. This role includes identifying and repairing any damage that panels may incur during production or handling. Work must be completed with attention to detail to ensure all surfaces are properly finished and meet company quality and appearance standards.

WHAT YOU'LL DO



  • Patch any spalls, cracks, or damage that panels may acquire in the process of stripping, handling or loading
  • Patch all lifting inserts that are not required in the moving process or for erection
  • Ensure that finishing area is kept clean and safe for all employees to work in
  • Remove all slurry from brick surfaces prior to panels being washed
  • Rub smear coat on all panels that require such a repair
  • Complete all yard modifications in a timely manner as they are directed by the supervisor
  • Remove and replace all brick that are marked by Quality Control for repair
  • Install any hardware required by engineering (this will be shown on the panel tickets and hardware should be ready for installation)

We're looking for a detail-oriented and quality-driven individual who takes pride in producing a clean, finished product. The ideal candidate is dependable, able to follow detailed instructions, and comfortable working in a hands-on production environment. This individual has a strong work ethic, works well with a team, and is committed to maintaining safety and quality standards throughout the finishing process.

IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE



  • High school education preferred but not required
  • Basic team skills
  • Ability to follow complex instructions
  • Basic planning/organization skills


WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS



  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally and frequent bending, climbing, kneeling, twisting, squatting, crawling, and repetitive hand/arm use
  • Capable of standing, walking, and moving throughout the facility for extended shifts of up to 12 hours
  • Comfortable working at heights using ladders, scaffolding, swing stages, and man lifts frequently
  • Ability to work safely in a production or field environment with moderate to high exposure to safety risks and hazards
  • Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions, including wet, hot, humid, and cold weather, and outdoors year-round
  • Ability to wear all required PPE, including but not limited to safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, high visibility vest, hard hat, and other PPE as required by the task, department, or work area.
