RESPONSIBILITES

* Evaluate and improve on processes in manufacturing systems

* Support production with troubleshooting of equipment and processing issues

* Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs and changeovers

* Improve process capability and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards

* Develop and implement systems that optimize all phases of production process

* Communicate with customers and lead root cause corrective action plans

* Must be able to analyze and prioritize projects and have the ability to follow through in an independent manner

* Determine possible machine upgrades to further improve production

* Maintain and enforce all company safety, environment and department of health requirements

* Some travel required < 10%

Authorities

* Ensure financial budgets are followed

* Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends

* Research and purchase new manufacturing technology

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in engineering and/or equivalent experience

* Design experience in CAD (AutoCAD or SolidWorks)

* Must be self-motivated with excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills

* Proven troubleshooting abilities performing root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
