To learn more about playing for Team Amcor, visitwww.amcor.comILinkedInIGlassdoorIFacebook IYouTube Job DescriptionRESPONSIBILITES * Evaluate and improve on processes in manufacturing systems * Support production with troubleshooting of equipment and processing issues * Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs and changeovers * Improve process capability and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards * Develop and implement systems that optimize all phases of production process * Communicate with customers and lead root cause corrective action plans * Must be able to analyze and prioritize projects and have the ability to follow through in an independent manner * Determine possible machine upgrades to further improve production * Maintain and enforce all company safety, environment and department of health requirements * Some travel required < 10% Authorities * Ensure financial budgets are followed * Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends * Research and purchase new manufacturing technology Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in engineering and/or equivalent experience * Design experience in CAD (AutoCAD or SolidWorks) * Must be self-motivated with excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills * Proven troubleshooting abilities performing root cause analysis and corrective action implementation OurExpectationsWe expect our people to be guided by The Amcor Way and demonstrate our Values every day to enable the business to win.
