Work Shift:

Second Shift - Manchester (United States of America)

Work Shift Time:

2:45 PM - 10:45 PM

Job Objective: Following standard operating procedures, efficiently operate dye kettles and controllers. Accurately weigh and mix dyes and chemicals according to dye formulas, to achieve a specific color match to a standard. Maintain safety, quality and delivery standards.

This is a temporary position lasting 1-2 years

Essential Job Functions:

  • Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations.

  • Perform duties following prescribed safety procedures.

  • Operate dye kettles according to documented procedure.

  • Monitor computer operating systems to prevent delays in production .

  • Load and unload dye kettle baskets and transfer baskets into dye machines and dryers using a overhead hoist.

  • Maintain control of material, formula, and paperwork during and after dye process to ensure correct color material and styles are delivered to the customer.

  • Consistently perform all functions above following Standard Work Instructions in documented time allotted.

  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment.

  • Full time presence required.

  • Excellent attendance required.

  • Ability to work overtime as required or requested including extended shifts and weekends.

  • Additional tasks as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED required.

  • Previous machine operation experience.

  • Proficient in basic math skills.

  • Interpret and follow verbal and written instructions.

  • Some data entry tasks required.

  • Good color vision.

  • Hazardous communications training.

  • Understand the proper handling of chemicals.
