WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING & THE IMPACT YOU'LL MAKE

The Trade Compliance Process Manager leads our global import and export compliance programs. In this role, you'll oversee enterprise-wide Customs compliance, partner closely across the business, and guide the strategy that ensures our products move smoothly and responsibly around the world.

What You'll Do:



  • Lead Hallmark's Customs Compliance Program: Maintain policies, procedures, and regulatory adherence across all import/export activities.
  • Own Classification & Trade Strategy: Oversee accurate HTS classification, duty assessments, valuation, and trade preference opportunities.
  • Manage Brokers & Audits: Direct broker performance, ensure documentation accuracy, and lead internal reviews and corrective actions.
  • Handle Regulatory Matters: Serve as Hallmark's main contact for U.S. Customs, resolving issues and communicating regulatory changes.
  • Oversee CTPAT/Security Compliance: Ensure all facilities meet program requirements and support revalidation activities.
  • Partner CrossFunctionally: Collaborate with Product Development, Procurement, Logistics, and Finance to integrate Customs requirements early in planning.
  • Lead & Develop Team Members: Coach and support Customs Coordinators while delivering training across the organization.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify dutysaving opportunities and enhance processes for efficient, compliant global trade.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

The following are required to be considered for this role:



  • Bachelor's Degree or at least 4 years of professional work experience
  • At least 8 years of progressive Customs and/or Logistics experience
  • People leadership experience, either as a direct manager or project manager



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Your resume will stand out if you have the following:



  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Management, International Business, or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive Customs or Logistics experience
  • Experience leading a team, including talent development, coaching, training, and performance management.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Collaborative and communicative with a proven ability to influence leadership and indirect peers across the business
