Merakey, a leading non-profit provider of developmental and behavioral health services, is seeking mission-driven, compassionate, and reliable individuals to join our team in Crafton, PA in our Home and Community Division.

The Program Assistant supports the Program Department by helping implement daily programming, documenting participation, and assisting residents during activities. This role works under the supervision of the Program Director and ensures smooth program operations in the absence of the Program Instructor.

  Organize and distribute the daily program schedule

  Assist with implementing goal plans and documenting resident progress

  Update program documents and records

  
  
• 
  

  Escort residents to and from program classes

  
  
• 
  

  Assist with special events, activities, and off-site trips

  
  
• 
  

  Maintain clean and organized program and storage areas

  
  
• 
  

  Support residents with ADLs (toileting, dressing, eating, hygiene)

  
  
• 
  

  Assist at meal times and with Behavior Support Programs

  
  
• 
  

  Provide guidance during social, recreational, educational, and therapeutic activities

  
  
• 
  

  Offer emotional support and report behavioral observations

  
  
• 
  

  Work cooperatively with program staff and attend required trainings

  
  
• 
  

  Order supplies and maintain inventory

  
  
• 
  

  Assist with structured leisure activities

  
  
• 
  

  Perform other related duties as assigned
