Job Summary The Electroneurodiagnostic (END) faculty member will educate and mentor students preparing for careers in neurodiagnostic technology, with a focus on Electroencephalogram (EEG) and related diagnostic procedures. This role involves delivering high-quality classroom, lab, and clinical instruction; evaluating student performance; and supporting learners throughout their academic and clinical progression. The faculty member will collaborate with clinical partners, maintain alignment with accreditation and industry standards, and contribute to curriculum development and program growth. This position is ideal for a passionate clinician-educator who is committed to student success, workforce readiness, and advancing the neurodiagnostic profession. Essential Functions
Minimum Qualifications 1. A master's degree in the teaching field, or a master's in any teaching field with 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching field, or 2. A bachelor's degree plus three (3) years' work experience in field to be taught, or an associate's degree or 64 semester hours and five (5) years' work experience in the field to be taught, or five years' work experience in the field to be taught 3. Must show completion of EDU 250 - Teaching and Learning in the Community College or sign up and complete the Springboard to Success training within the first semester post-hire. Desired Qualifications A. Teaching experience in the field of END Technology at a college, technical school or other Technologist Training Program B. Masters degree in R.EEG T.(Registered END Technologist), MPH (Masters in Public Health), MBA (Masters in Business Administration), CNCT (Certified Nerve Conduction Technologist), REPT (Registered Evoke Potential Technologist) C. At least Five (5) years of documented health care experience in END Technology D. Experience with online systems, i.e. Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, Canvas, etc E. Clinical instructor/fieldwork or preceptor experience F. Knowledge of and/or experience with Accreditation Council for CAAHEP, AASM and/or Regulatory Hospital Accreditation, accreditation requirements and process related to curriculumTeaching experience in the field of END Technology at a college, technical school or other Technologist Training Program G. One (1) year full-time relevant MCCCD experience during the previous two (2) years Special Working Conditions
