Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities Measures, precisely cuts, and sews seams as required. Follows operational instructions when operating or using tools and Follows all applicable safety procedures to avoid injuries including but not limited to request for help from co-workers with loads exceeding 50 plus pounds, proper handling of raw materials, and follows all operational instructions when operating or using tools and equipment. Examines finished parts for accuracy in dimensions, color, visual inspections for cosmetic and surface defects to meet work order or drawing specifications. Resolves problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications, notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources. Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling maintenance for repairs. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations according to the 5s practices. Informs manager of supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies. Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
