As a Security Officer, you will greet associates and visitors, check identification and credentials, manage badge access, and document activity while remaining visible and conducting routine patrols. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by following security-related access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control entry and exit points by checking identification, verifying appointments and/or delivery information, issuing temporary badges as directed, and maintaining visitor and vehicle logs.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including escalating concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision as needed.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and access control systems, reporting suspicious activity and documenting events per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including dock doors, trailer yards, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet, which is preferred.
• Have customer service experience, which is preferred.
• Have access control and/or badge experience, which is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
