Job Description




As a Security Officer - Flex Mobile Patrol Driver in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a commercial real estate location. You will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and service requests with professionalism. This is a driving post, so you will use a company-approved vehicle policy and your valid driver's license while delivering customer-focused communication and teamwork with integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with onsite management and emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including interior common areas, exterior grounds, and parking areas, helping to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and property activity, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance hazards, and/or policy concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Complete required reports and logs, documenting patrols, incidents, and interactions according to Allied Universal standards and location requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A minimum of 1 year of security experience is required.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
