Security Officer - Unarmed Mobile Driver

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Mobile Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a residential community, you will complete routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to resident questions with strong customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, watching for unusual activity and conditions that may help to deter unwanted behavior.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, noise complaints, trespassing concerns, and medical or fire-related calls, and notify appropriate parties as needed.
• Complete security-related reports and incident documentation, maintain activity logs, and communicate observations to onsite management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems where available, and assist with visitor management, key control, and package delivery procedures as directed by site policy.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
