*Description*
Req Qual Notes: - Pay Rate: $22.56/hr - can stretch to $25/hr for an ideal candidate - Duration: Onsite - 4 month contract - want to extend to full time - Schedule: 7:30am - 4pm - Someone that's strong with numbers and comfortable doing calculations - Strong excel experience (excel calculations) - Uploading documents - more of an admin role overall but want a strong financial/math experience - Most important skill is the math/calculations - Default ledger: payments in and out of closure invoices - Mortgage experience is great but numbers is more important - Don't need any systems experience - Uploading documents to repository - Organizational skills are huge - Candidate needs to have a sense of urgency, it's a fast paced environment - Interview Process: In person, 2 step, unless the 1st round panel interview goes well or if they are deciding between 2 candidates - Can manage with someone who's a quick learner and comfortable in excel if they aren't a master - College degree is not required (but preferred) *Skills* audit management, foreclosure, invoice processing, deposit verification, financial services, data entry, microsoft office *Top Skills Details* audit management,foreclosure,invoice processing,deposit verification,financial services,data entry,microsoft office *Additional Skills & Qualifications* - Prepare audit folder and assemble all required documents with flags at the conclusion of the foreclosure process. *Review and process daily approved invoices for Foreclosure department and dispute payment if it exceeds guidelines. *Process refunds of deposits. *Prepares and distributes sales results notifications to investors and management as needed. *Perform internet research to identify utilities and HOAs; make any corresponding payments and transfer accounts as necessary. *Make photocopies and file documents upon request. *Distribute and process department mail. *Update data in internal systems with status. *Create summaries and spreadsheets upon request. - High school diploma or equivalent preferred, along with at least two total years of experience in an administrative role in consumer mortgage industry/in a back office financial services environment, preferably in mortgage defaults. *Highly organized and detail oriented; ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment required. *Prior experience preparing certified mail- preferred. *Basic proficiency with data entry, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. *Prior experience using the internet to perform basic searches to obtain information. *10-key by touch preferred. *Prior experience using document retention software; Blitzdoc preferred. *Experience Level* Intermediate Level *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
