Quality Inspector

A Quality Inspector position in Plainfield, IN 46168 is currently available at Belcan. We are seeking a talented Quality Inspector to join our exciting team with focus on Gas Turbine Engines and Defense Products. This position is currently available at our customer"s warehouse in Plainfield. This is a direct, full-time position with benefits. To be considered for this role, you will need a high school diploma and quality experience in a warehouse setting.

Job Duties:
Candidates will be involved in leading or support of various tasks including:
o Ability to follow processes & guidelines
o Ability to understand/apply technical data for quality inspections
o Ability to unpack/repack and inspect components
o Ability to meet deliverable deadlines
o Ability to evaluate and determine serviceability of components using technical publications
o Clear communication within the team and to the customer
o Candidates are expected to help raise the level of performance of the team, through a collaborative team setting, consistent communication, and willingness to help others achieve success

Required Qualifications:
o 2+ years" experience with part quality in a warehouse type environment
o Warehouse experience required
o Preferred experience: Quality Inspection experience
o Technical skills and ability to understand technical documents and manuals
o Professional communication, both written and verbal
o Detail oriented and good time management a must
o Ability to meet deliverable deadlines
o Ability to lift and move boxes/parts
o Ability to deal with ambiguity, to be adaptable, to work across multi-discipline teams, and to drive results
o Due to the nature of the work performed, US Citizenship is a requirement

Compensation:
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering an salary rate of 62,400 to $72,800 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. Benefits offered may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.
