As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic tech and telecommunications location, you will monitor access points and key areas, conduct routine patrols, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support visitors and employees with clear communication, respond to questions and concerns, and document observations and incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access to the location by verifying identification, managing visitor registration and/or badges, and directing deliveries according to site procedures.
• Monitor security-related systems and activity, identify unusual conditions, and report concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal management.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing timely notifications and completing clear incident documentation.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
