Security Officer - Mobile Patrol

As a Security Officer - Mobile Patrol in Roanoke Rapids, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will document observations, support access control, and communicate clearly with site personnel while providing strong customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, yards, and perimeter points to help identify unusual conditions and/or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and vehicle entry areas, assist with visitor and contractor check-in, and help verify credentials and/or delivery documentation per site procedures.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other documentation, and communicate observations to site management and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21+ years of age.
• Customer Service Experience - preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet - preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
