Opportunity Details:

  • Provide antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, neonatal, interconceptional, and gynecological care.
  • Plan and provide health care for women and individuals across the lifespanand newborn infants.
  • Establish a complete database concerning the patient through history taking, physical examination, and ordering/interpreting appropriate laboratory data/tests.
  • Provide guidance and education for patients and families concerning health maintenance, admission and discharge, labor management, and physical and emotional support.
  • Manage labor and birth, including delivery of the newborn.
  • Utilize medication and performs procedures.
  • Provide immediate and the follow-up care of the newborn infant, including circumcision and ongoing assessment and follow-up with the postpartum family.
  • Seek medical consultation, co-management, and/or referral for patients with medical, obstetric, or gynecologic co-morbidities.
  • Provide contraceptive services and guidance.
  • Evaluation and treatment for minor gynecological conditions.
Qualifications
  • Midwife Licensure by New York State

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $140,649* - $172,785* based on 40-hour work week and years of state licensure.

The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $154,713** - $190,063**, which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors as set forth below:

  • 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
    • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
    • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
  • Medical, Prescription, and Dental Coverage: Top-tier plans with employee contributions significantly below market rates.
  • Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Coverage: Equal to 2x your salary (up to a maximum of $300,000) provided at no cost to you.

  • Medical Malpractice Coverage (equivalent to occurrence-based): Provided at no cost to the employee.
