Job Summary The Host/Hostess works closely with patients, nursing staff, and support teams to deliver timely, accurate meal service while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and patient satisfaction. Shift Schedule * 4 days/week: 2:30 PM - 7:00 PM * 1 day/week: 6:30 AM - 2:00 PM * Every other weekend required * Flexibility with shifts is required Essential Duties & Responsibilities * Place patient meal orders accurately using the bedside meal program * Print tray tickets and ensure accuracy based on patient diet orders * Assemble meal trays on the tray line and load trays onto holding carts * Deliver meal trays to patient rooms within established timeframes * Pick up dirty trays from patient units and return them to the dish room * Ensure patients are aware of and understand the bedside meal program * Clean and organize carts and tray delivery equipment * Maintain and restock floor pantries as needed * Interact professionally and compassionately with patients, nurses, unit secretaries, and patient family members * Navigate hospital units efficiently to ensure timely meal service Experience Level Entry Level Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bel Air, MD.
