You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and provide helpful customer service and clear communication for shoppers and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with conflict de-escalation and coordinating with local authorities and/or on-site management as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the store, common areas, and exterior perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity, identify hazards, and observe for policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or theft-related activity while maintaining a professional presence and positive shopper experience.
• Complete required documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoff notes, and communicate observed issues to site leadership according to post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card and/or security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
