As a Security Guard - Roving Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for assistance, document observations, support staff and visitors with clear communication, and deliver customer service with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical-related disturbances, visitor issues, and access concerns, and promptly notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and building perimeter, documenting observations and reporting maintenance or hazard concerns to the appropriate contact.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials and/or visitor authorization, providing directions, and assisting with crowd and queue management as needed.
• Complete required reports such as shift logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate key information during shift handoff to support continuity of security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
