Job Description




As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver in Everett, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, you will monitor assigned areas through routine patrols, high-visibility presence, and timely reporting to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license, supporting mobile checks, incident response, and customer service for staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a government utility location by following site-specific procedures, access requirements, and/or emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying the appropriate contacts.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor and report unusual conditions such as open doors, damaged property, and/or environmental hazards, escalating issues according to post orders.
  • Complete required reports and logs, communicate professionally with site representatives and Allied Universal leadership, and support security-related operations as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
